What to expect as a guest

It is a ride,
not an interrogation.

If you are coming on CANDID, here is what the day actually looks like, so nothing catches you off guard.

The setup

Most of it happens in the car. It is a real ride through the city, with a small crew and a couple of fixed cameras. There is no studio, no big lighting rig, and no live audience. You do not need to prepare or rehearse.

How long it takes

Plan for a couple of hours around a ride of roughly twenty to thirty minutes. The conversation is unscripted. We talk about who you are, what you are working on, and where you are headed.

The formats

Most guests do a Conversation, which is the seated ride. Some rides are shorter Transfers built around a single trip. If it fits, we may also capture access moments or a first-person piece, but the ride comes first.

What happens to the footage

We cut the ride into a full episode and a handful of short clips for social. We film with consent and you sign a release beforehand. See consent and your footage for how we handle that.
